AK-47 | Case Hardened is a Classified AK-47 skin featuring the Case Hardened finish. Its float value ranges from 0 to 1, so it can be found in Factory New to Battle-Scarred condition. Lower floats look cleaner and generally command higher prices.

This skin drops from 1 case in the CS2 economy. A StatTrak™ version exists that counts confirmed kills and typically sells at a premium over the standard finish. Souvenir editions can also appear, dropped during supported tournaments and often carrying player/team stickers.

Case Hardened launched with the original CS:GO Weapon Case in 2013, part of the Arms Deal Collection. It carries Classified rarity with both StatTrak and souvenir versions, and it uses a marbled gold, blue, and purple metal-etching pattern rather than a painted design.

Because the coloring is generated by a pattern seed rather than a fixed print, individual copies vary enormously. Some seeds produce receivers that are almost entirely blue, which collectors have chased for years and priced far above the average copy.

If you want a specific look, check the pattern index, not just the wear tier, before buying, since two Case Hardened AKs at the same wear can look completely different depending on how much blue the seed produced. If you just want the general aesthetic, an average pattern at a lower price is a perfectly reasonable choice.
