Core Editorial Principles
Editorial Independence
SkinJudge does not accept payment from gaming services to influence Safety Scores, rankings, or editorial content. All services are evaluated based solely on community data and objective criteria.
Full Transparency
Our Safety Score methodology is publicly documented. We disclose affiliate relationships and clearly mark sponsored content (though we do not currently accept sponsored posts).
Factual Accuracy
All factual claims in our content are verified through multiple sources. We update listings promptly when services change policies, ownership, or operational status.
Community-Driven
Safety Scores reflect real player experiences, drawn from community reviews and scam reports rather than paid placement.
Review & Rating Guidelines
Review Authenticity
- •Fraud Detection: We screen reviews for patterns that signal fake review campaigns and coordinated manipulation before they are published.
- •Owner Managed Listings: When an operator confirms they run a listed service, the listing shows an Owner managed badge. It is informational only and does not let them edit, hide, or remove reviews.
Prohibited Review Content
- Personal attacks, doxxing, or threats against service owners or staff
- Spam, promotional content, or competitor sabotage
- Hate speech, discrimination, or illegal content
- Reviews written by service owners/employees without disclosure

Safety Scores are kept up to date as our data on each service changes, and are built from the weighted factors above rather than a single rating.
Editorial Content Standards
Blog Articles & Guides
- •Author Attribution: All articles display author name, bio, and expertise. Authors are vetted gaming industry professionals.
- •Fact-Checking: Statistics and claims are verified through primary sources. We link to official game documentation and third-party data.
- •Update Policy: Articles are reviewed quarterly and updated when information becomes outdated. "Last Updated" dates are displayed.
- •Disclosure: Affiliate links are clearly marked. We never recommend services solely based on affiliate commission rates.
Service Listings
- •Inclusion Criteria: Services must be operational for 90+ days with verifiable customer base before listing.
- •Removal Policy: Services are removed if they shut down, are confirmed scams, or request removal with proof of ownership.
- •Data Accuracy: Pricing, features, and metadata are updated as services change.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Affiliate Relationships: SkinJudge participates in affiliate programs with select gaming services. When users click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This does not affect our editorial content or Safety Scores.
No Pay-for-Placement: Services cannot pay to be featured, ranked higher, or receive better Safety Scores. All affiliate partnerships are disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
Team Disclosure: SkinJudge team members must disclose if they have financial interest in any listed service. Personal investments or employment relationships are prohibited.
Content Sponsorship: We do not currently accept sponsored content. If this changes in the future, all sponsored posts will be clearly marked as "Sponsored" or "Partner Content".
Corrections & Updates
We are committed to correcting errors promptly. If you believe any information on SkinJudge is inaccurate:
- 1.Email corrections@skinjudge.com with details and supporting evidence
- 2.If you operate a listed service and spot an error, email us with proof of ownership and we will correct it
- 3.Significant corrections are noted at the top of articles with timestamps
We aim to investigate all correction requests within 48 hours and update content within 7 days.
