With a smaller magazine than its unmuffled counterpart, the silenced M4A1 provides quieter shots with less recoil and better accuracy. It has been custom painted with a stark black and white design and finished with pearlescent highlights.

M4A1-S | Printstream is a Covert M4A1-S skin featuring the Printstream finish. Its float value ranges from 0 to 0.8, so it can be found in Factory New to Battle-Scarred condition. Lower floats look cleaner and generally command higher prices.

This skin drops from 1 case in the CS2 economy. A StatTrak™ version exists that counts confirmed kills and typically sells at a premium over the standard finish. Souvenir editions can also appear, dropped during supported tournaments and often carrying player/team stickers.

Printstream released in 2020 as part of the Operation Broken Fang Collection, obtainable from the Operation Broken Fang Case. It carries Covert rarity with both StatTrak and souvenir versions.

Its high-contrast, print-media-inspired look was distinct from anything else in the case pool at the time, and it quickly became one of the most requested and imitated designs, later echoed by the Desert Eagle Printstream from a different case.

The halftone dot pattern and splashes of red give Printstream a graphic-design quality rather than a painted or photorealistic finish, and it looks striking at nearly every wear level, which has helped drive its lasting popularity.

Because the black-and-white contrast is the core of the design, even Field-Tested or Well-Worn copies still look distinctive, so buyers on a budget do not lose as much visual impact as with more delicate patterns. StatTrak carries a strong premium given ongoing demand.
