Gungnir belongs to the Norse Collection, tied to Operation Shattered Web in 2018. Unlike case skins, it was not sold in a purchasable weapon case; it was earned through the operation's mission and reward track, which limited how many copies entered circulation.

Its Covert rarity and Norse mythology theme place it alongside other Shattered Web exclusives such as the Negev Mjölnir, giving the collection a coherent Viking-inspired identity.
