How SkinJudge Makes Money
Last updated: July 15, 2026
SkinJudge is free to use and does not sell listings, placements, or scores. This page explains, in plain language, where our money comes from and what it does not buy.
Affiliate links
When you click "Visit website" on some service profiles, the outbound link may be an affiliate or referral link. If you then sign up or make a purchase, SkinJudge may earn a commission. You never pay more because of this: the price is the same whether you arrive through our link or type the address yourself.
Every outbound click passes through an interstitial page (/go/) that tells you whether the specific link is an affiliate link before you continue. Outbound affiliate links also carry rel="sponsored nofollow" markup, and services without an affiliate relationship are labeled accordingly.
What commissions never influence
Safety Scores, rankings, review verdicts, and pros and cons are set by the same published methodology for every service, whether or not an affiliate relationship exists. Some of the highest-scoring services on SkinJudge earn us nothing, and some services with affiliate programs carry low scores and explicit warnings.
We do not accept payment for listings, better placement, score changes, or removal of negative information. Service owners can report factual errors through the contact page, and corrections are made based on evidence, not on commercial relationships.
Community reviews and editorial content
Community reviews are unverified user submissions and are never paid for or edited for commercial reasons. Editorial reviews are researched independently; the sources behind each claim are listed at the end of every in-depth review.
